Denton Main Street Association plans fun for downtown Denton

“Live, Work, Play” has been used to portray various places, but it describes downtown Denton now more than ever. With many distinctive restaurants, unique shops and art galleries, abundant apartments, the historic courthouse square, and the A-train nearby, downtown Denton is the place to be. And now, more than ever, is the time to be a part of Denton Main Street Association (DMSA).

DMSA promotes all of downtown Denton as a destination for both visitors and residents. We do this, in part, by hosting and promoting special events like the popular Twilight Tunes Concert Series held on the Courthouse lawn Thursday evenings in May and June, the Arts, Antiques & Autos Extravaganza in September, Wassail Fest during the annual Tree Lighting, and an Open House in the Spring and Fall, among other promotions held throughout the year. We also have been working with other downtown businesses, organizations and events to spread awareness about other activities going on downtown.

Our current events are free to the public, so DMSA depends on members, volunteers and sponsors to make these events happen. We need you! We have many levels of membership, beginning at a $25 level that includes a card for discounts at participating downtown merchants. Other levels include several business exposure benefits. For a full description of membership levels and the associated benefits, please visit the “About Us” and “Members” pages on this site where you can learn more and find an application with details.

Thank you and we hope you will take time to enjoy all that downtown Denton has to offer.
