The deadline for art entries in the Arts, Antiques & Autos Art Contest has been extended to Saturday, Aug. 31st. The festival is Saturday, Sept. 14th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the historic downtown Denton Courthouse-on-the-Square. The winning entries will be on display in downtown from Sept. 6th to Sept. 14th. This year the Chalk Art Fest & Competition is coming back to the Arts, Antiques & Autos. Come smudge for a day on the 200 block sidewalk of West Oak Street and compete for prizes. There are three age categories. Entry forms to save your spot on the sidewalk are due by September 12th and can be found on the Events page.
Car, truck and motorcycle entries will be accepted up to the morning of the show (No entries after 8:45 to 9 a.m.), but get in early to save on the fee. Whether it is a classic, custom or hobby car, truck or motorcycle you have, just dust it off, clean it up and bring it out! Entry forms on the Events page.
