Have A Holly Jolly Holiday Open House

Almost fourteen years ago, Holiday Open House in downtown began with only a few participating businesses. In 2006, more downtown businesses caught the bug and thus HOH grew into the bustling event we know and love today. So head on over to downtown Denton for one of the most wonderful times of the year!

During Holiday Open House weekend, beat the hustle and bustle of December shopping and actually enjoy your experience all at once! More than 40 shops, restaurants, and bars are participating this year, each with a little something for just about anyone. The sales, holiday decor and gifts, as well as special customer promotions and drawings, will be available in various locations.

Stop by Cowhide Western Furniture and enjoy 10% off the entire store all HOH weekend long.

This year, take time to check out all the stops across Downtown Denton over the weekend.  All participants can be found on the Holiday Open House event page here as well as are provided list below. Be sure to participate in the Passport Program, a limited amount of cards available, and go around to various participating locations to get your stamp and be eligible for the drawing to win some great prizes! Check out the details here. Some stores are open Saturday and Sunday, November 10th and 11th. Plus, there’ll be live music a-plenty across Downtown, including Brian Wilkinson & Guitar George at Chestnut Tree to serenade you over brunch Sunday morning, or the Raised Right Men during the afternoon at Dan’s Silverleaf. So, be sure to stroll the streets of the square and beyond. Discover antique and vintage treasures, apparel boutiques, and eclectic specialty stores to snag Christmas gifts that are as original and independent as Denton.

Downtown Denton abounds with shops featuring clothing, art, music and much more. Downtown is the perfect place to find some one-of-a-kind gifts, holiday decor, delicious specials at restaurants and something to wind down your day of shopping at participating tasting rooms. It’s also the perfect opportunity to keep our dollars local, and therefore our culture and local economy a thriving environment. What a great opportunity to share gifts and treats with family and friends that are unique, heartfelt, and so very Denton indeed! Steal the show at your next holiday gathering when you shop with one of our participating local member businesses. You’ll be glad you did!
