Let's go Wassailing - on the 13th

Due to the inclement weather in North Texas the Denton Holiday Lighting Festival had to cancel the festival that was set for Dec. 6th.  However, WASSAIL FEST WILL BE on FRIDAY, DEC. 13th with more than 25 Wassail Stops waiting to serve up their best recipes.  The time is still 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Denton. PLEASE NOTE, this is not a reschedule of the Denton Holiday Lighting Festival. The streets will not be closed and the Wassail Stops are in the participating stores. PLEASE USE CAUTION crossing the streets and on sidewalks.

What is Wassailing? It is a tasting event you don't want to miss in downtown Denton.  Tasting is free and open to all ages.  The Wassail Stop list is up on the Events page of this site and will be updated as we confirm all the stops that are rescheduling to Dec. 13th. Check it out and get the scoop on all the fun this Friday in downtown Denton at the 15th Annual Wassail Fest. Updates for the events and Wassail stops are also being posted on our Events page of this site. See the Events page for full list.

First Friday will also be taking place that night, so see what is up with First Friday as you make your Wassail Stops on W. Oak Street.

And, check out our great holiday shopping and dining fun all month long. There is a great video on the Events page. See you around the square - and beyond!
