Save the Date: October Dentoning Fun

October kicks off one of the busiest times of the year; the Holiday season. Lucky for us, Denton likes to take each holiday month in grand stride, with events nearly every weekend to keep us steadily shopping, imbibing and connecting with our Downtown neighbors. Below are a few of our favorite spooky and groovy events we think you should add to your weekend schedule.

Sundays in October, 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm Every Sunday afternoon in October, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere of fresh air and great live music before the work week begins alongside friends, family, and fellow Dentonians. Our Fall series offers an eclectic variety of musical genres fitting for all listeners. We're eager to enjoy the tunes with you!

Saturday, October 21st, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm This festival is a celebration of the music of the 60's and 70's, and the International Pop Festival, which produced a show in Denton County 40 years ago. The fun is Saturday, October 21st on Industrial Street in downtown Denton featuring various cover bands throughout the event. Admission is free.

Saturday, October 28th, 11:00 am to 9:00 pm  Denton’s Day of the Dead Festival is a free, family-friendly event held outside on E. Hickory and Industrial St. Spirits will be high as we celebrate the fall season, paying homage to the goodness of the harvest, Dia de Los Muertos, and all things Halloween. You’ll enjoy it right down to your bones! Don't forget about the Parade, Coffin Races or Cirque Du Horror at Dan's Silverleaf.

Saturday, October 28th, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Denton Trunk-Or-Treat is a Halloween alternative event in Denton hosted by the Denton County Historical Park and The Bridge Church Denton. Join us for an awesome night of games, costumes, crafts, face painting, prizes, and of course CANDY! This is a family-friendly event for the Denton community.
