Downtown Denton is hoppin’ these days and Spring Open House weekend is proof of all the shopping and dining destinations there are to enjoy in downtown on the square and beyond.
The fun abounds around downtown on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6thas the merchants of the Denton Main Street Association open their doors for a Spring Open House event. This weekend offers something special in downtown’s array of places for shopping, dining and entertainment all weekend.
“Spring Open House weekend is a good chance for people to come down and take advantage of the extended store and restaurant hours with locally-owned businesses before the busiest time the season hits with special occasions like Easter, Mother’s Day, graduations, and other events that might require a special gift or maybe making arrangements for a special dinner or lunch event,” explained Traci Davis, owner of Garden Gate and Retail Promotions Chair for the Denton Main Street Association.
Downtown stores and restaurants will be hosting their annual Spring Open House with extended hours on Saturday, April 5thfrom 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 6th, Noon to 5 p.m. (Some store hours may vary). Come snack, shop and stroll to check out great boutique buys, fine cuisine, restaurant specials, hidden treasures, books, sweet treats, arts and antiques in the many merchant establishments around downtown.
