Don't miss a thing at the last few concerts of the Twilight Tunes series! Join us on the courthouse lawn, Thursday June 26th at 6:30 for a crowd favorite, the Bonnie and Nick Norris Band. Bonnie and Nick have been playing Twilight Tunes since the very first year! For those of you reading who don't know who the Bonnie and Nick Norris Band is they are a brother and sister duo who began performing as kids around Denton. They don't classify themselves as just one genre. When asked Bonnie said "we play a mix of music ranging from acoustic and country to jazz and blues." Make sure to come out Thursday and see the duo rock the square.
If you're feeling inspired after Twilight Tunes come back downtown and stop by Thursday night's sponsor McBride's Music and Pawn Shop to pick up everything you need to create your own tunes. They have tons of instruments including electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, amplifiers and all the accessories you may need!
At Twilight Tunes on Thursday Denton Main Street Association is hosting a social media contest. Whoever posts a picture at Twilight Tunes (of the band, sponsor, crowd, your family and friends!) post it on your favorite form of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) tag @dentonmsa and hashtag #twilighttunes #dentonmsa #DMSA. The way to win is by having your picture you posted liked or favorite as many times as possible. By 7:30 we will check all forms of our social media, tally up all the likes and favorites; the person with the most favorites or likes wins an awesome Twilight Tunes tee-shirt! So make sure you let all of your friends know to look out for your photo Thursday night so they can help you win!
Bonnie and Nick Norris Band and all of the activities begin at 6:30pm on the Locust Side of the courthouse lawn.
