Thin Line Fest brings great film, music and photography to North Texas

Downtown Denton welcomes the visitors of Thin Line Film Fest! Now in its 8th year, Thin Line Fest continues the pursuit of artistic excellence with the addition of photography to the annual film and music festival. This year’s fest features 48 documentary films, 28 music performances, and nearly 150 curated photographs from around the world. The festival begins Wednesday the 18th of February and continues through Sunday the 22nd. Special guests this year include actor Jason Lee and Mr. Olympia, Phil Heath.
And, while shopping or dining downtown be sure to participate in the "Share the Love" promotion. If you spend more than $25 in a participating store or restaurant, you receive $5 in downtown Bucks to be redeemed at a participating store or restaurant. See details on the Events page of this site.
All films are screened at the historic Campus Theatre in downtown Denton, Texas. Music venues include Dan’s Silverleaf (103 Industrial) and Hailey’s Club (122 W. Mulberry). Photo galleries are spread throughout Denton including at Banter (219 W. Oak), Golden Triangle Mall (2201 I-35E S), Cultivar Coffee (235 W. Hickory), Mulberry St Cantina (110 W. Mulberry), UNT on the Square (109 N. Elm), Chestnut Tree (107 W. Hickory), and more.
Tickets must be purchased through Thin Line and range from $8-$20. Passes are also available and range from $25-$150. Seniors, Students, and active Military receive 20% off.
