Denton Main Street Association presents its award-winning concert series in downtown Denton every Thursday during the month of May and June with a bonus concert on July 4th from 12:30 to 2 p.m.. In June, as well as July 4th, the concerts will be held on the east side/Locust Street side of the courthouse lawn.
Named “Best Promotional Event” by the Texas Downtown Association in 2012, the concert event sets the tone for fun downtown every Thursday night in May and June, with a special July 4th afternoon concert. Join the fun on Thursday evenings on the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square lawn, 110 W. Hickory Street from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The concert is held on the west side of the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square lawn in May, and in June it moves to the east side of the courthouse lawn. Admission is FREE.
Bring your friends and family, get a meal-to-go from one of the many downtown eateries, bring a blanket or chairs, and enjoy an evening of great live music as the sun sets over downtown Denton. The 2013 series offers an eclectic assortment of music for all listeners. Thursday Twilight Tunes is the perfect way to kick off the weekend early and listen to some of the best local bands in the Denton area.

If you are coming from the southern part of Denton County, or even the city, hop on the DCTA A-train at MedPark in Denton or any of the stops south of Denton in Lewisville and Carrollton. Relax and enjoy the ride to downtown Denton, hop off, take a stroll to the square and grab a bite along the way.
