Contest Overview: The Denton Convention and Visitors Bureau is looking for original, unique, creative signs to welcome TEAM FRESHTRAVELER in the Rand McNally and USA TODAY second annual Best of the Road Rally. The team is in search for the Most Fun Town in America and Denton is in the final cut – the top 6!
Sign submissions will be accepted June 22- July 6th. Winners will be determined by an online voting contest. Original Best of the Road T-shirts and Denton Swag will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The Winners and contestant entrants may have a chance to be seen on the Travel Channel with TEAM FRESHTRAVELER as well as receive the opportunity to have their sign shown or featured on Denton Convention and Visitors Bureau Websites including but not limited to:

STEP 2: Take a picture of your sign at one of the following events Team FreshTraveler will attend or anywhere you find the team during their Denton tour July 4-5.

Yankee Doodle Parade (starts at Wells Fargo at Locust and Hickory and goes West on Hickory, North on Elm, back East on Oak, north on Locust, East on McKinney to City Hall and Civic Center. Note, the route goes opposite direction of the usual one-way streets around the square.)

Submissions, must have been created specifically for Contest, and must not have been published or released commercially. Any material that is hateful, tortuous, defamatory, disparaging, derogatory, slanderous, libelous, or otherwise unlawful, material that violates or infringes on another’s rights, including but not limited to, rights of privacy or publicity, copyright, trademark or any other intellectual property rights, material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual, or promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, personal identifiable information, including but not limited to, personal names, license plates, phone numbers, personal addresses, and any other content, including but not limited to, text, images, graphics, photographs, captions and descriptions, data, codes or programs that could be considered inappropriate or offensive, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
