Denton County has a rich history that is loved by its citizens. The Denton County Historical Commission will present part of that history this Saturday during the Denton County Hertiage Festival, commemorating the history of eras past.  This year the commission is remembering the 1861-1877.

The event will feature re-enactors bringing to life Denton County officials of the era, Civil War soldiers (both Union and Confederate), cowboys who played a significant role in the era, and singers...

Rock around the block at Twilight Tunes

Denton Main Street Association presents its award-winning concert series in downtown Denton starting at the end of April this year.  The concert event sets the tone for fun downtown every Thursday beginning Thursday, April 24th at 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will run every Thursday evening through July 3rd, with a bonus concert on Friday, July 4th in the morning immediately following the 4th of July parade through downtown Denton.
