Thin Line Fest brings great film, music and photography to North Texas

Downtown Denton welcomes the visitors of Thin Line Film Fest! Now in its 8th year, Thin Line Fest continues the pursuit of artistic excellence with the addition of photography to the annual film and music festival. This year’s fest features 48 documentary films, 28 music performances, and nearly 150 curated photographs from around the world. The festival begins Wednesday the 18th of February and continues through Sunday the 22nd. Special guests this year include actor Jason Lee and Mr. Olympia, Phil Heath.

Denton Main Street celebrates 25th anniversary this year
This year marks the 25th anniversary for Denton as a certified Main Street City and it is proof that continuing the revitalization efforts is worth the investment. To commemorate this occasion, a new logo was recently developed, reflecting all the vibrant economic, cultural and historical activity in downtown today.

22nd Annual Twilight Tunes
Denton Main Street Association presents its award-winning concert series in downtown Denton starting April 23rd this year. The concert event sets the tone for fun downtown every Thursday beginning Thursday, April 23rd at 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will run every Thursday evening through July 2nd, with a bonus concert on Saturday, July 4th in the morning immediately following the 4th of July parade through downtown Denton.
